Night time bottle....
Many of my friends will give their child a bottle and put them in the crib with the bottle. Anyone do this??

Re: Night time bottle....
We were advised not to do it with milk or juice, because the sugar will pool in their mouth overnight and rot their teeth.
With that said, when Alex transitioned to the sippy, we started putting a sippy cup with water in her crib, so when she wakes up and is thirsty, she can just take a drink and go back to sleep. I've actually seen her do it in the middle of the night, through the monitor.
Problem is, the sippy cup has now become one of her nighttime attachments, along with her sleepysaurus stuffed animal. When she goes down in the crib, first thing she does is grab sleepysaurus, then her sippy, holds them close to her chest and falls asleep. Not too sure how I feel about that just yet.

I'm sure people still do it...doesn't mean it's a good thing.
Me...I never did with DD and won't with DS.

They will! Mine were the same way - they were soooo lazy - but they started finally holding it at about 16 months.
I don't give mine the bottle in their cribs - I heard it wasn't good for their teeth too.
