Nikon D40?
Does anybody have it? How is it? I really need a new camera and I'm looking at this one. I was just trying to get some personal opinions on it. TIA!

I LOVE IT!!! My friend got it too. The book is hard to understand if you are not a photo expert but I recommend this website..

I use the Nikon for work! Takes great pictures. I would say slightly less user-friendly than some other models because it has more options/buttons (I had to read the manual to figure it all out, while with others it's just press and click), but it was worth it. Pictures come out very clear.

Also: If you price compare .. I got mine from Ritzcamera.com. They have free shipping and no tax. Also they have specials..I got a free photo printer after rebate and a $50 coupon that I could use for a future purchase.

i went on the nikon site and there seems to be a new model of the d40 coming out. its called d40x and its i think 10 megapixels and much easier to use according to reviews.
