It hardly playing anywhere on LI anymore, but my friend and I are going to see it tonight. I love musicals, so I wanted to see it, despite the reviews and the box office turnout.

Saw it right after is opened.
It is not true to the original material at all. Some of the music is good but badly executed by actors who for the most part can't sing.
Great costumes and cinematography.
Penelope Cruz was particularly good I thought. Marion Cottilard (sp?) as well. Fergies number was the best in the movie by far.
Nicole Kidman needs to lay off the botox and eat something.

I love musicals. I hated this movie. My friend and I thought it was pretty torturous to sit through. I would give an actual detailed review, but I don't feel like thinking about it anymore.
