Nipple size - could it be causing gas?
We are using Dr. Brown bottles and decided to up Julia's nipple size to Stage 2 - she will be 3 months next week.
Some days it feels like it takes her forever to finish a bottle - she drinks 6-7 ounces - and with the stage 2 nipple the flow has been much better and fast....
But do you think this could be giving her gas? Maybe she is adjusting to the flow of the milk or gulping air?
Did any of you experience this in your baby?
TIA

I know that we didn't change to stage 2 until around 5 months. It could be causing gas. If she didn't have gas problem before and is now, yet nothing else changed, I would think it could be the cause. Can you switch back for a fe wdays to see if she improves?

We had the same problem when we moved to the faster nipple... but, the alternative was waiting upwards of 30 mins for her to finish her bottle. We gave it a few days and eventually she adapted... give it a little time
