Re: Families who dont respect your holiday plans

They just love you guys. We used to spend the thanksgiving in both LI and philly and same for Christmas Eve and Day it wasen't ideal. We don't have that opportunity to see both or even one of the families this holiday.

Is there anyway you can combine holidays... invite your inlaws to your Mom's for a drink, tell your Dad to just come to your Mom's..... or vice versa.....

Re: Families who dont respect your holiday plans

No matter how much your families see you, or how equally it is divided, it will never be enough.

We're having both of our families (15 people in all) over on Sunday for Chanukah and both of our mom's b-days. Brad and I figured that this would save us a LOT of running around that weekend and it would be nice to all be together. So far, we've been told that although we are seeing each other on Sunday, everyone is still going out for DH's mom's b-day Sat. night, and my mom has asked when we're coming to Staten Island to do Chanukah at my parents' house!
