Ok, so the season finally WOW
I almost had a heart for chuck until the end, but chuck will always be chuck i guess...
dan and serena over 
but nate and serena...maybe maybe??

I was so sad that happened with Blair and Chuck. I actually wanted them to be together. I absolutely love both of their characters. I think they are my favorite.
And I'm sorry, but Dan just annoys the ever-loving crap out of me. I hope he sticks with Vanessa.
And I hope Serena ends up with Nate. I absolutely, positively am in love with him 
And I'm actually kind of sad that Rufus and Lily didn't end up together.
I'm also glad we didn't get much of Jenny this week. She was beginning to annoy me.
YES! See ya later, Georgie! I couldn't deal with her anymore, either.

I was so happy for Blair and Chuck until the end. It was nice to see that he had a heart. He panicked after his dad talked to him.
I'm sad about Dan and Serena, but I think the summer apart will be good for them.

Dan just annoys me to no end! I'm glad they broke up! He should get with Vanessa, someone he can fit in with...
All in all, it was a good season finale!

i really dont like the Nate-Serena relationship...AT ALL
Blair & Chuck would be great togther...but maybe like post-college when he has everything out of his system

overall I think it was a great season finale. A few things:
(1) I sort of wish that Georgina's good riddance was a little more dramatic. It seemed too quick for me that all of a sudden her parents were there and then she's going to reform school.
(2) The love triangles between Blair/Chuck, Vanessa/Dan, Nate/Serena I can already see are going to annoy me. Because we know darn well no one will ever live happily ever after. And we're destined for season after season of people breaking up, dating others, making up, back to their old ways, etc. We saw it in Friends with the Ross and Rachel thing, Grey's Anatomy with Mer/Der, Dawson's Creek, The OC, 90210 and probably a million other shows. I hate the constant swap. Its tiresome.
(3) I guess it is a sign of me being too old to be watching this show, by my favorite story is lilly and rufus. I was sad when he was wishing her well after she left the bridal suite. I want them together.
Love this show though!!!

I thought the show was just, eh. I thought it tied up everything in a neat little bow. I don't like the way everyone was paired off at the end.

I couldn't agree more. The finale didn't leave any hangers, and we each know what's going to happen at the start of season 2.
I full agree on #3! I loved that Rufus came to declare his love for Lilly, and hated when he wished her off and he went on the road.

The thing about Rufus and Lily- (1) if they ended up together now, there would be no more storyline for them for the rest of the show. We all know at the end of the show they will be together.. but if they got together now it would be all over.
(2) Also, I like the way she put her daughter first. She sacraficed her happiness for her daughter. Once Rufus realized it was that it wasn't that Lily chose Bass over him, Lily chose SERENA over him, I think it made him accept it, and move on and sincerely wish her well.

I was very disappointed in the finally.. They didnt leave us hanging .. i love to be left hanging for something to look forward to when the new season begins.. nothing!!!
