If someone pinched me and it was because I wasn't wearing the right color, I'd likely punch them in the face and tell them that their mother is a wh0re.

but i did wear green, today.

I'd probably shove them if I didn't know them. If I did, I'd pinch them back because I have green eyes.
I've never heard of it before too. Who the heck dictates what color I should wear?

I'd probably be startled.. but as long as they didn't hurt me I'd probably find it funny after they explained why.
I think it's good and harmless fun and don't know why anyone would get violent over it?
Now I want to go pinching those who aren't wearing green!!!
ETA: Isn't EVERYONE a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day??

I don't think this is a "thing". I think it's a case of someone being a dumb@ss.
As you could imagine, I have a lot of green on and put green bandanas on the dogs too.
