No HOUSE Thread? SPOILERS!!!
OMG OMG OMG... last night was the season finale wasn't it? We're going to have to wait till next season to find out what happens??
I'm obsessed with this show.. and have the sickest tv crush on Hugh Laurie.
So let's discuss.. in the last scene, he was walking into a psychiatric facility.. does this mean he's opting for shock therapy instead of giving up the vicodin?

I know... CRAZY, right? I think House is actually scared out of his mind and doesn't even have the option of giving up Vicodin. I mean, he thought he had given it up and that was all in his head. I don't think he trusts himself anymore, and I thought that the ending meant that he was going to stay in the facility for a while as an in-patient.
I can't wait to see what happens next!

So it wasn't a hallucination when he told Wilson he was clean and slept with her right?

So it wasn't a hallucination when he told Wilson he was clean and slept with her right?
OMG, there was no lipstick! I didn't even realize that it was his bottle the whole time. I think he DID actually have that conversation with Wilson.

Nope - I don't think it was... The whole lipstick thing had me wondering what was going on from thevery start...
The last scene in Cuddy's office when Amber and Kutner appeared threw me for such a loop at first!

But over the last few weeks Wilson has been telling him the Vicodin can be causing the hallucinations.. but instead of dealing with the possible pain, he's getting shock therapy at a psychiatric facility where he will loose his medical license?
And how f'in scary was that building??

That building freaked me out! I could just imagine the sterile hallways and the screams of patients...

See, I don't think he's getting the shock therapy because he doesn't want to deal with the pain. Not anymore anyways. He doesn't know what reality is anymore. He hallucinated that he DID give up Vicodin and so how can he trust himself to actually give it up when he can't even tell what is real and what is not anymore?

I got the impression that House is cracking up and needs to be in a facility for a while. It may not be just the Vicodin causing the hallucinations. He's got a lot of guilt...
Damn I'm glad I have dvds of some tv shows to watch this summer. I'm going to miss House and Lost!

The whole episode was so good!! I looked at DH at the end and asked how could one episode be so funny and end so sad?!?! Just that look on House's face he just looked so scared and sad.
That guy with the arm/hand he couldn't control had me cracking up. Throwing rolls and smacking things? And the old guy who squaked? (Who was he, he is someone...)
Such a great season finale for a great show!! I can't wait until next season!!

I knew something was not right. You can't detox on Vic in 1 night. I really did not see it coming that he was hallucinating about Cudy. At the end he looked so scared. What I don't get also is that he talked to Wilson about sleeping with Cudy but Wilson had to find out, right? That part does not make much sense. How did not find out that Cudy and House did not sleep together but it looks like he knew at the end.
I thought he would go for detox at the end but got surprised to see the "psych board".
