No More Stars and Stripes
what a difference paint and wood floors can make. please ignore the fact that there is no furmiture. we are patiently awaiting its arrival. we are installing crown molding and new doors in the den this week.

botton is lenox tan, top is shaker beige. the lenox tan is also on the bottom in the DR and the shaker beige is in the LR.
they are actually darker than in the pics. for some reason my flash went off.

It looks great! Call me crazy - I hate the stripes - but kinda dig the stars (maybe in a lighter less obvious color) It looks beautiful without them too though - good job!

yes, the den was orginally painted paneling in that buttery yellow color in the 1st pic. we closed up the door into the foyer, had wood floors installed and painted. the color is darker in person.

forgot to mention that we removed the plate rack hanging piece in the kitchen and the bookcases on other side of the fireplace in the LR. i will have to take better pics and repost.

no the floors were not prefinished. we needed to match the floors in the den w/ the floors in the kitchen, so he used a similar stain and satin polyruethean(sp?).
