NO Police Cheif kills himslef.....
He came home from rescuing people and found his wife and children raped and killed.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

oh no. that is so sad. this is why i try not to read the paper or watch the news. call me ignorant, id rather be. sooooooo sad. i cant take these things anymore. the paper was right in front of me at the bar last night.. thats how i found out about the 10 month old baby girl. i was crying.

Wait is that the same guy that was on CNN today saying his daughters are safe and so is his wife and that the rumors are getting out of control and there are NO reports of any children who got raped or killed in the superdome? that police chief?

I am trying to find the article now. I didn't read about it. I heard it on the RUSH LIMBAUGH show just then. He was reading an email from a friend that he had in NO and they said "a lot of what is being reported is not be reported in full. They aren't given the true reason behind the story about the cop that shot himself. They aren't telling you that the reason why he did it was because when he came home from looking for bodies in the water he found his wife and children raped, killed and mutilated."
Sorry for TMI.

NEW ORLEANS (CNN) -- New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass rejected what he called "vicious rumors" Friday that bodies of dead children had been found inside the convention center, where Hurricane Katrina evacuees stayed for days.
"We have swept the entire convention center," he said, and no children were found dead. Also, he said, there were "no confirmed reports of any type of sexual assault."
For days, the convention center and the Superdome were scenes of chaos, as lawlessness gripped much of the city. Evacuees described instances of violence including sexual assault. (Posted 1:02 p.m.)
