No so good news at the doctors regarding the cramping i have been having...(advice needed)
My doctor thought it might be a problem with my uterus so she sent me for a trans-vaginal ultrasound. The uterus is fine, not back to normal size yet but fine. The problem seems to be my left ovary, it's 3 times the size it's supposed to be and has a very large 2 inch wide cyst on it. She said it's big enough to cause some concern and needs to be followed to make sure it goes away. Im worried, she said if it doesn't go away it could affect future babies.
Anyone had any experience with this??

I have not dealt with this personally but my mother had benign ovarian cysts when I was a toddler. At the time the only thing they did for it was remove the ovary. She did fine with the surgery and successfully conceived my sister with one ovary after only four months of trying.

I had a 15 cm (yes, you read that right) cyst removed from my ovary a few years ago. Somehow it grew and grew undetected and by the time I noticed a problem it was huge. I had part of my ovary removed and conceived DD on the first try. Feel free to FM me

i had a cyst on my ovary (before i ever got pregnant) and it was removed along with 3/4 of the ovary. we had been trying for awhile, so i think actually getting it removed helped us conceive. as long as it's not cancerous, i wouldn't worry. ovarian cysts are quite common and if they had to remove part or all of one ovary, you can still get pregnant. good luck!!!

Yes. I had a very large cyst about 10 years ago. My GYN wanted to surgically remove it and told me I might lose my ovary They also thought because of the size it could possibly be cancerous. I went to see a dr who specializes in gynecological oncology and he suggested I get on BC. After a few months on BC the cyst went away on it's own.
