no weight gain for baby from 36-37wks?
i had my regular growth sono last friday at 36w 1d- the baby measured 6lb 4oz, then i had to go back this saturday to have my fluid checked and the baby measured the same, but i gained 4lbs this week. Im concerned that the baby didnt gain ANY weight this week. is this normal??? im starting to freak out about every little thing...

baby should gain 200gms in 10-14days not sure why they would check again

They told me that he was 7.5 pounds and he was delivered two weeks later and weighed 6 pounds. The sonograms are definitely not exact when it comes to weight.

I really wouldn't worry - -I heard that sometimes the baby's weight gain slows down when u get close to the end. You're almost there

A sonogram isn't an accurate measurement for weight, remember it's just an estimate, your baby could have gained another 1/2lb for all you know.

I too had my 37 week appt. last week and didn't gain anything either. I don't think it's anything to worry about since I have been steadily gaining 3-4 lbs per month throughout. If there were any concern they'd let you know.
