Noahs congestion is SOOOO bad
I dont know what to do?
HE saw the ped on Sat. Who siad it was just a cold, but its like stuck in his throat, he sounds all garrgly( word?) and I feel so bad?
Im using vicks, cool mist humidifier and saline.
Anything else?

It stinks! Jack's congestion lasted for almost 5 days - there is nothing else you can do then ride it out! It's the worst to hear them so sick!

oh no, poor noah and poor mommy. is he letting you use the aspirator to get the mucous out?
i hope he feels better really quickly.

I agree. Run a warm bath for Noah while you are both in the bathroom with the door closed so that some steam can build up. It might help a little bit.
Also, did you read that someone had posted about rubbing Vicks on the baby's feet? Moms on here said that it really helped.

Poor baby. Hope he gets better soon!
Have you tried a vapor bath? It's bubble bath that smells like Vicks. That helped my DD when she was sick.

maybe try giving him fruits and veggies that are high in Vitamin C?

unfortunately, using Gentlease...it's a milk based formula and dairy products usually increase mucous.
Maybe some water? warm chamomile tea?

Took DS to the doc over the weekend. He has Bronchiolitis again. I was doing the vaporizer, the rub, the aspirator and all that for a week before I took him cause he wasn't sounding better. They put him back on the nebulizer and a small steroid. If he's not getting better and you're concerned, take him back.
PS the onther thing that helps DC is I let him sleep in the swing instead of the crib because it keeps him in a bit of an elevated position and he sounds better at night. At daycare they put a small boppy under one end of his crib to keep him elevated.

Johnsons makes a baby wash for kids with colds. it is in a green bottle and it works really well. I use it with both boys when they have colds. My liitle guy also has a cold and we were at the pred last week 3x and there is not much more than Tylenol you can do. I hope it is better soon...
