North Carolina furnture question...
We are about to get all new furniture for our Master Bedroom. has anyone gotten furniture from NC? How was the delivery? Did you really save on it? how much did you save? Any good websites? Any pics of what you got? TIA, We are thinking of checking it out and taking a trip down to NC , but want to to see if it is worth it in the long run.

It really depends. I am from NC. So when we go home to visit, DH and I always go to the stores and shop around.
But, for every quote we have gotten, when delivery is added in it was not worth it. We would come back home, find a place here on LI that sold what we were looking for and get them to match the prices. We have done this with a dining room and bedroom set.
But my Aunt that lives in DC found good bargains while visiting-I think a couch and some tables. It really depends.

I ordered from Blacks in North Carolina and they were great. They have a website, just google them. They were way cheaper and we order Hooker pieces.

I think they went out of business awhile ago-if it is the one based in Greensboro.

there is a nortch carolina furniture store off of sunrise i guess it's copiague.i was heading towards the sunrise mall and saw it on my left hand side.
