Norwegian Jewel out of NYC? (Nickelodeon cruise)
has anyone been on this cruise ship? how was it? We are thinking of doing the Nick cruise next month

We'll be on it for the first time in May so no help here! But I would try cruisecritic.com .... They have tons of reviews on there and you can ask anything you want and even find roll calls for that particular sailing!

Loved the Norwegian Jewel, we went on it on our honeymoon. It was an awesome ship.

My husband and I just came back from the Jewel that left from NY, we were on the christmas one Dec 19th - Dec 26th.
I looooved it!

Did you find that the water was reallly rough? Nausea sets in pretty easy for me so I'm a little reluctant. Also, how far down south did you get before you could swim in the pools without turning blue?

Oe the first day no, one the 2nd & 6th days yes the water was a bit rough but I think they have seasick pills...I'm not too sure though.
There were people in the pool in NY (mind you it was like 40 degrees), the pools are heated and ppl were willing to sit in there for hours and have 1 minute of frost to get their towels and run inside. I don't get it but I'd say honestly that once we were in Florida (the first port) on Tues the 21st, that it was okay weather to get in the pool, it was around 72 degrees.

We just came back from the NCL pearl. OMG WHAT A FANTASTIC TIME!!!!!!
The pearl and the jewel are sister ships so I am certain it will be awesome!!!
My dd would die if we went on a nick cruise. This one wasnt a nick cruise. Def book...what a great time!!!
