Nosy Co-workers
Does anyone have a co-worker who constantly asks too many personal question? She's a nice woman otherwise, but some of the questions she asks about my life just makes me uncomfortable. I don't want to be mean and shout "it's none of your friggin buisness!", although sometimes I'm tempted.

Re: Nosy Co-workers
Tell her straight up that I am a very private person and I do not discuss my private life with anyone. I did this to someone on my job and it works!!! Make sure to say it in a very polite way.

Re: Nosy Co-workers
Yes, yes and YES! And it's SO annoying.
I've noticed that if you give a little, they try to take a lot.
DH and I work in the same dept so we get it pretty bad... here's a recent conversation:
DH: No, I don't want to go out to lunch b/c I'm going out to dinner for my b-day.
That afternoon, a male co-worker asks ME "So where you are you taking your DH for dinner?
Me: I don't know yet.
That was a friday afternoon.
Then came monday morning and my BOSS, who was not even part of any of these conversations calls me and says:
"So where did you take b-day boy out to dinner?"
Me: We ended up not going out. Him: Oh? Why not? (At this point I'm like WHAT?) Me: Babysitter situation. Him: Oh so you ordered in Chinese, and settled into a movie at home? (Now, I'm like W T F?!?!?! )
Me: No. Can we talk about work now?
