Not a fun experience
Yesterday I went to the R.E to get my blood taken. I'm normally have issues getting blood drawn so they had me lie down. They took about 10 tubes. DH was with me and it wasn't too bad. I laid down for a little but then I went to get up and I felt awful. I started seeing spots, I got the sweats and thought I was going to pass out. At the same time I thought I was going to throw up. DH said my lips turned blue and face turned white. He got the nurses back in who had me lie down and gave me tea and chocolate.
I'm supposed to be getting blood every week (just one tube). I'm praying that since its only 1 tube it wont be as bad. But it was just awful yesterday 
They also did a sonogram to see my ovaries. I'm CD11 and not ovulating yet. Going back Thursday to talk to the doctor, get another sonogram and  more blood.

Awww! 10 tubes is rough... One won't be so bad.
I have trouble getting blood drawn too, so I do sympathize!

I had 13 taken and DH had the same. It was rough and I have never had issues with getting blood taken. Im sure the one tube wont be as bad.

What does CD11 mean?
I'm sure one vial of blood at a time will be much better! Good luck

1 tube definitely shouldn't be as bad. Just make sure you lie down for the bloodwork. Also, bring a juice (something with sugar) and drink it right after they take the blood. The sugar should help you feel better. GL!

Wow 10 your brave, I cant deal with needles. Atleast now you'll only have to take 1 and it'll be all worth it

Wow I am so sorry you had to go through that! It definitely does not sound fun.  I am sure one tube will be a lot easier for you and i do agree with the other girls it will be all worth it in the end!

CD 11 means cycle day 11- AF started 11 days ago.
Coll, I hope you're feeling better and hopefully that's the worst of it!! Did they give you meds to trigger O?

sorry it was rough! Did you drink a lot of water before? I had 29 tubes of blood taken at one time and it wasn't so bad bc I chugged water like it was my job before hand and during the blood collection. Make sure you stay hydrated!!!

Thanks so much ladies!!
Catey- not yet. Doctor first wants to monitor my cycle first and see if I can O without meds. Judging my last time I was off BCP...i'll probably need the meds. I've had cycles that lasted 3 months.
Kelley- The doctor told me to drink water...I had maybe about 8oz before. I just couldn't drink that much. However, I think next time I'll force myself. WHen I get nervous I have to pee...and water makes me pee even more...so I'm not sure how much my poor bladder could handle!!

 that was ALOT of blood... no wonder you got like that!
I got that from 1 vile a few weeks ago. I am sure you will be ok the next time when they are not taking every ounce of blood out of you! Good thing DH was with you
