Not being aloud to workout the 1st half...
really did a number on my body. I have never been sooo flabby! My legs have gotten huge and flabby, my butt is also like jello. My arms are too! I don't know how I'm still wearing the same size?
I started walking and I have some free weights at home for my arms and also trying lunges. But I can't see how doing these will make me lose the flab and tone up at this point? Before my surgery and PG I was doing a lot of cardio and weights so I just can't see how this can help my appearance any. I'm too embarrassed to even wear shorts. If I can't even put shorts on how am I suppose to take my son in the pool when we go to Disney in a month? I LOVE being PG, I just wish I was able to work out still in the beginning.

I know how you feel...I used to workout at least 3 times a week but I have not worked out forever! I feel out of shape also. When I was 5 or 6 weeks I tried to use the stairs at work to get some exercise but I was so nauseous that I couldnt even do that. I am still nauseous and taking a walk on the boardwalk is a big deal

I was told that as long as you dont over do it and you were working out pre pregnancy that you were allowed to continue as well. maybe you should re check this with your dr?
I am sorry you are feeling so down.

Re: Not being aloud to workout the 1st half...
Thanks for the replies!
I wasn't aloud to workout because I had A LOT of bleeding episodes, and the month prior to getting PG I had surgery, a Laparoscopy done so I wasn't able to then. The last time I really worked out was on Dec. 1, got PG over New Year's and then had the bleeding so it's been a really long time. I can do light stuff now, but that's it since my body is no longer used to it. It's just that when I'm doing it, it doesn't feel like I'm doing anything.

I know how you feel!
I am a long distance "runner" and have reduced myself to walking/biking for the first tri b/c of the m/c. It is driving my crazy! I feel like such a fat arse. I didn't stop the freeweights though so I can't imagine not doing much of anything...
You'll bouce back once you start running after baby, don't worry!
