Not exactly PR but I post here only...can it be?
I just went online to look at my bank statement before I head out to the mall to do some damage for DD this summer. 
Turns out, there is a tax refund that was deposited into my account this morning? We already got our tax refund checks, is it possible I got the governemt refund already, even though it sats they start May 2nd? Weird, I don't know where this money came from, but I'm not complaining!

There were a bunch of threads on the NFR board stating that those that used direct deposit will be getting them sooner (like now!) and everyone else's weeks are being pushed up!

I would say it's definitely a possibility..was it the amount you should be getting???? There is a calculator on the irs.gov site that tells you what your rebate should be.

It was the exact amount that was put into my account, so I am going to assume that is what it was. Either way, I just got back from Target and Roosevelt Field, and bought DD tons of birthday presents, and some great summer clothes!
