Not having a good go of it this week. Really could use hugs/prayers
I wound up in the hospital 2x. I thought I was having some GI issues, turns out I was dehydrated and contracting 8 min apart (29 weeks). Felt like bad IBS had no clue. They did some test that is used to predeict liklihood of pre-term labor in the next 2 weeks and I got a positive result. So they had to give me a shot to stop the contractions (like drinking 20 cups of coffee! I thought my heart was going to run out of my chest) after re-hydrating did not stop contractions. Then they gave me a beta shot to increase growth of lungs in case he comes early. Had to go for another shot yesterday too with more monitoring. After the second beta shot I started getting red. This morning I woke up and my cheeks, chest, and arms were really red. Called my OB and she said that was a reaction from all of the hormones...as well as the headache that I have been sporting today (I thought it was from the rain). So now I have to just wait it out. I am so nervous. I just want him to stay in for at least 7 more weeks (I will be 30 weeks monday). 40 would be great, but I have been saying for a few weeks now that I had a feeling he was going to come early. I just want him to be healthy...I wanna cry...and I have been, but trying to stay calm for his sake.

Everyday counts, just get through today and then worry about tomorrow. Babies born at 24 weeks have survived, your peanut will be just fine ! I will keep you in my prayers.
