Not in agony, just uncomfortable. Is this Normal?
Sorry if this is TMI but, I'm 30 wks today and on my last OB visit (Wed.) DR told me head was down (in birthing position). For the past few days, I have felt really sore. As if someone kicked me in my privates, like a black and blue. Not excruciating pain, just a soreness. It's starting to worry me. Has anyone else had this? Is it normal?

I got it around that time too. It did not last the whole last 10 weeks. You'll barely feel it once the hip pain and sciatica set in...
But seriously, you will feel pressure probably from now on, but it should not be excrutiating. It will probably come and go. I know I wanted to choke my doctor when I told him about the pain and he said "Oh that's a good thing. It means your pelvis is opening up to get ready to have the baby." I felt like saying, "Yeah, well lets see how you like it when your pelvis starts opening up!!!"
Hang in there. You're almost at the end!!

Totally normal. I used to say I felt like someone took a baseball bat and beat me between my legs.

Thank you so much ladies. Now I finally feel like I'm NOT going crazy. Noone ever tells you about things like this. I ask my mom and she can't remember dinner yesterday, never mind details of a pregnancy over 30 years ago!!! I said it before and I'll say it again......Thank Goodness for the ladies of LIF!!!!
