not in the christmas spirit

Anyone else bummed by the holidays ?

i'm just not into them.
I don't care if we hang lights, get a tree.

I think it's because we were supposed to have a baby to share this christmas with, and it's just us again.


I hate feeling this way, I should be thankful for what I have. But I can't help it. I'm hopeful this feeling will pass. I keep telling myself it's only Dec1st I still have time to get into the spirit.

I had a hard time last year and I was having a tough time before Thanksgiving, but I see to be getting a little better.

You don't have to full out decorate. RIght now, I just really want the lights on the front of the house. I love to drive around the neighborhoods during the holiday season, it reminds me of doing it with my grandparents and that makes me happy.

See how you feel about it, don't pressure yourself. Maybe do a little and see how it goes. You may surprise yourself and feel better about it.

i agree i think u should start putting up just a little and see how u feel. I mc last week again at 7 weeks and was also due the first week of dec but mc back in May also. i DID NOT want to put up anything. Dh kinda pushed me and im happy he did bc for the last 5 days ive been slowly decorating. Dh even told me last night im going a lil crazy with the decorations! Lol. it has kept me busy and as much as i hate december todays my wedding anniversary, and i love xmas. I was estatic when i found out i was due in dec. Perhaps next december ill be EXTREMLY pregnant or have a little one in my arms!

i had that last year- my second loss would have been due Dec 28th. but i tried to spin it around- dh and i went into the city- ice skating at rockefeller center- transyberian orchestra concert- we decided to live it up, and have one more spoiled christmas- before we had a baby to put ahead of our own plans
