not into xmas decorating this year?

i always love xmas... i really do... but this year soooo not into it... i;ve been thinking aobut soooooo much stuff to do for the babys arrival in spring... i just dont care if my house is decorated... i think we'll do the tree only.... and maybe some outside lights... but nothing else... my house is in disarry already... and trying to get that in order and get some improvements done before the babys here.... i can't see adding holiday decorations all over the house....

I am so with you!!!! But, this will be our baby's FIRST Christmas, so we feel obligated to at least get a tree up. She will have no clue what anything is, but it's just something we gotta do!

Don't sweat it if you don't want to decorate. This holiday is going by so fast and will be over before you know it. Just pretend you have everything up and then it will make clean up that much easier!

We always only put up a tree and the stockings. I guess I'm just lazy!

I am so with you on this. We are redoing DH's office so we can move the futon from the basement in there so we can move his excercise equipment into the basement where the futon was so there will be room for a playpen where the excercise equipment was. And then, we will do the nursery. And recarpet everything. Oh and the futon is going upstairs because we won't have a guest room anymore since it will be the nursery!

I can't imagine getting all my Christmas stuf out in the midst of all this and decorating....maybe a tree and my nativity set.

I physically don't feel like putting the tree up to then have to take it down in a few weeks. I can't even get DH to bring it up from the basement. But this year Nate may actually enjoy opening presents, so I'll try to put it up this weekend.

really? I cant wait to do the lights today outside, I have started inside too. and b/c this is going to be a holiday baby I am doing more decor inside the house. I also bought a christmas outfit for a teddy bear I got from my baby shower and dressed it and put it in the nursery along with holiday clothes for the baby too.
