I have never...but some girls in my ovusoft buddy group have tried it.
Their one piece of advice....don't use eggs right out of the fridge! Let them come to room temp first.

I've heard its really dangerous to use food as a lubricant...infections, food rotting, etc. I don't know, I wouldn't do it though.

Oh man, I must have misunderstood while reading it. I wouldn't use it, though... I agree with Kathy & Donna... food can go bad, and an unnecessary infection can occur.

I DID recall reading it in the book and thinking "ok, this is the one thing I definitely do NOT think I'm going to try"
So no we haven't attempted it yet - however I am the first to admit that as the months go on and if many more months pass without conceiving, I might actually give it a shot ... I just will 'never say never' Though telling my DH and actually letting him know I'm doing it will be another story entirely

I used Pre Seed, it is a gentle lubricant that helps the sperm swim up to where they need to be. It is better than KY because KY slows the sperm down.

Yeah, I draw the line at inserting food into myself.
Especially food that I enjoy. I would never be able to eat eggs again.
And forget coloring Easter Eggs.

When I read this in the Book, I couldn't believe it. This was never brought up on the boards and I was floored. I even reread the passage to make sure I didn't read it wrong.
I think women use this if they are not producing much mucous during their peak times. I would probably go with preseed before the egg whites.
