So true... I've done both and I can say either way - you cannot win. No one should have to justify their choices or their needs. There is so much that generally goes into the decision either way.

The only 2 people that make comments to me is DH he thinks he is funny when he say all I do is sit home all day with the kids how can I be tired.... and my lovely MIL who is a real winner... she thinks its cute to say I do nothing all day..... Whatever....I want to go back but who in their right mind is going to watch triplets.....

You do realize it's all your fault.....
If everyone stopped becoming moms in the first place, all of these comments would stop in less than 100 years.....  
I'm sure there's some downside to this theory, but I'm not sure what it is....

Maybe she thinks they feed each other 
Ask your MIL to watch them for one day and then see what she says.

I"m not a SAHM, but I get plenty of the peanut gallery comments and I literally cut people off before they even finish their sentences .......I don't care anymore ........
The way I'm treating it is:
If YOU have the audacity to think you can say whatever you feel to me about MY life decisions, I will have the right to put your a$$ in it's rightful place ..........
