Not "O"ing question. *Update*
Hi Ladies,
This is the second month of using CBEFM. I have 36-38 day cycles. Last month i got my egg on CD 22-23 and it was a 36 day cycle. This month I am on CD 27 and according to the monitor have not "O"ed yet. I know your not suppose to, but I look at the sticks everyday to examine the two lines. I really thought I was going to "O" last week and still nothing.
Does that mean I am just not going to ovulate this month? If I don't should I bother calling the doctor. he did tell me if we were not successful after 6 months to see him. We started TTC in January.

UPDATE: Ok, so we just about gave up this month and now on CD 28, I get my egg. I am happy, but so annoyed because we haven't BDed since Tuesday.

I have had this same question I thought I was crazy. I was using Opk's for the last 2 months with no O. The first month I thought I started to late, so the second month I started on CD8 all the way to AF showed up and no surge.

This is why I stopped using them and take a 2wk window to make sure we bd atleast everyother night if not every night. I find them hard to use and more work then help, for myself

hmm, interesting question.. one i've had myself! I wonder if all these predictor kits actually work as they're supposed to or if they're just designed to frustrate us all!! i would ask your dr. if they think the OPK's are accurate or not and if they suggest you coming in before 6 months. I would guess they'd suggest waiting another month or so as this may be an 'off' month.
I do like the idea of bd'ing every other day during the 2 week time when you think you might be O'ing anyway.
our bodies never cooperate when we want them to do they??
