Not sure about RE, wwyd
I did a TON of research to look for an RE who would fit all of my needs and I found such person. After 1 visit and some emails, the RE told me that they're moving to a location further away and that I could continue at the closer location with the other RE. I saw the second RE yesterday and I'm not sure I like them.
The reasons why are 1. personalities didnt mesh 100% and 2. when I emailed the first RE about the issue I was experiencing (bleeding on CD 13), they told me to come in for an ultrasound and bloodwork. When I got there yesterday, the new RE did not do any kind of exam, we just discussed the issue.
How are they supposed to properly diagnose someone if they dont even do an exam? The 2nd RE couldnt expain why I was bleeding, they just recommeded I go on BCP until Im ready to commit to TTC with medication. They also recommeded doing some other test check for polyps in the uterus...
Anyway my question is do you think this was ok? would you stay with RE #2 or would you try to find someone else who could satisfy your questions?

Re: Not sure about RE, wwyd
I would high tail it out of there.
Doctor's these days are a dime a dozon. Where one doctor fails another can succeed. if you are unhappy DO NOT Stick around... find a dr you are happy with.
I say this all the time... there are so many "bad" doctors out there.... so hop around until you find a "good" doctor that you are satisfied with. You are putting far too much into their hands to feel as though you are either being mistreated or that they could do a better job.

I would find another Dr. If you aren't 100% comfortable with the RE, then you shoudn't stick with them. You may end up seeing that Dr. a lot with all the monitoring and what not. I think its important to find someone you trust.
good luck!

Re: Not sure about RE, wwyd
I had mid cycle bleeding and when I went to my dr about it the 1st appt was just to discuss it and then they scheduled test to find out what was causing it. Ended up being polyps.
Maybe the 2nd RE wanted to discuss it with you since that Dr had never seen you before. I don't find the initial visit that odd.

Re: Not sure about RE, wwyd
I had mid cycle bleeding once and went to see my regular OB (who I dont love) - he did bloodwork to make sure I wasnt pregnant or having a misccariage as I bled on and off for two weeks and my AF was super light that month. Tests came back negative. Overall it was very odd and he chalked it up to a wacky cycle or anovulatory cycle. It hasnt happened since then but he said if it did happen again that I should go back and see him. I am looking for a new dr. though bc I just dont love him and he seems too old school for me. I want a more innovative dr.
I would look around...I know it is frusturating the find a new dr. but the guy you are seeing seems too non-chalant. Have you been ttc for awhile? If so then I would want someone a bit more agressive and who is willing to find answers!
