Not sure if anyone will know what I am talking about but.....
I began running about a month or two ago and I keep getting the worst pain on the side of my left shin.
Its not where shin splints usaually are, its off to the side, the inner side.
It hurts so bad after running that just touching softly with my fingers hurts.
Could I have a broken bone and not even know it? It only flares up when I run hard and it doesnt happen to my right leg.
Any thoughts????????

I got shin splints on the inner side of my shins.
But my sister had stress fractures on her shins after a few months of intense running so that's also a possibility.

Sounds like shin splints. I'd see a doctor and get recommendations for a good pair of running sneakers or some other sort of advice.
