As per the article:Since 2007, 17 states have passed laws "protecting life beginning at conception,"
And what about HER life?

OMG.The comments on that article are as horrifying as anything I've read. The first comment at this moment says that the 10-year-old wasn't really raped and probably had a consensual relationship with her stepfather and it's her "poopy luck" that she got pregnant.
Good Lord. What is wrong with people??

I can't even wrap my head around a 10 year old being pregnant.
They mention in the article that they were not sure if the girl had been notified of her options of having an abortion...how in the world does a 10 year old even understand the ramifications of abortion to make that decision?
As for the stepfather....he needs to lose some body parts and suffer for what he did. POS

something similar was going on in brazil maybe last year. girl was raped by her stepfather, got pregnant..she was like 9 or 10.
I believe she did have an abortion and the church excommunicated her family; there was all sorts of controversey.
seriously..how would a 10yr old carry to term and give birth. Unreal...

This is so disturbing on so many levels...people's selfish and self-interest is leading to this poor thing being 4.5 months pregnant already! This is going to be so traumatizing for her whether she has an abortion OR delivers the baby! People are morons!
