not sure what it is called....
what are those books from the town that tell you about all recreational activities for that township? Ive seen it before but dont know what I am googling. Ive seen art classes, ballet classes, nursery schools etc...
Specifically I saw the one for town of islip but when i googled it I am coming up with nothing. I wanted to find either islip or brookhaven...

No...not at all but I love that.
This is a pamphlet like book that tells you the classes for your township only. its usually cheaper then putting your child in public classes. BUT the classes are for like 8 weeks etc...

I found the one for Brookhaven if anyone is interested. There are tons of programs in fact I saw something on there for kids 2-4 (mommy and me) for 65 bucks for mayne 8 weeks??? Go under brookhaven.org. It was to the right. I still cant locate islips classes  I am Holbrook/holtsville.

Here you go:
Town of Islip
The Guide that is there is for Winter 2007-2008. I don't know why the current one is not there. But maybe you can call or email for current info.

I don't think you can register for Islip programs since you are a Brookhaven resident. I know that's how their camp works anyway.
We get the Brookhaven rec. guide mailed to us in the Spring.

Ohh I thought Holbrook was still Brookhaven
I did....we don't do anything out of it though. Nicholas used to do the free Summer camp, but last year it was a nightmare at the park since they have no shade.
