Not sure what to do...ds is feeling sick

he says his throat hurts a lot. there is no fever so i gave him some motrin for the pain. i am having the baby on thursday though...and i want him to be better and be there after i have her. should i keep him home from school to be on the safe side? if his resistance is low i dont want him to get worse or have the baby come home to a sick house. dh had a cold already and i have some sinus issues. what timing!

I would def. keep him home and bring him to the dr. I know strep is going around, and you would want him on antibiotics before the baby comes.

I would get him checked out by the ped just to make sure he doesn't have something like strep or something he might need antibiotics for esp if you have the baby coming this week, since they won't let a sick child come to the hospital and you don't want him to get sicker so I would keep him home - worst case is he gets a little extra mommy time before the baby comes right?

we have to go to the ped in a few minutes. he was crying all night long from his throat hurting and he vomited a few times from all the mucous. why does this have to happen right before i give birth?????

poor baby hopefully once he gets antibiotics, he will feel better...let us know what the ped says
