Not sure where to post... Scared
Hi Ladies,
Not sure where to post this.... Health, infertility? TTC?
Anyway.... just had an ovarian sonogram and the doctor found a dermoid cyst (a benign cystic teratoma) on my right ovary. It's 99% likely that it will not be cancer, so that's good... BUT if it's not taken care of, I could lose my ovary! I am so worried... we wanted to TTC soon!
My gyn. recommended Dr. Farr Nezhat and/or the L.I. Gynelogical Oncologists practice in Mineola....
Has anyone had any experience with the above doctors??? And with dermoid cysts on the ovaries? If you have had this, what was it like for you?

My SIL had a dermoid cyst on her ovary and it started to get smaller on its own. Then she got pregnant and it started to grow like crazy. They actually performed surgery once she entered the second trimester and removed the cyst. It was completely successful! Baby was fine and the ovary was saved! There is hope! 
She lives in Florida, so i can't really recommend a doctor for you. Good luck!
