Not the Best RE Appointment..
So I went in for monitoring today. Quick summary – I came off a BCP cycle after overstimming. Did 2.5mg Femara CD1-5, 37.5ius Gonal-F CD1,3,5,7, and went in CD8 for monitoring – nothing doing. Added another shot of 75ius Gonal-F CD9. Went in today, CD11, still nothing Now I have to do the whole protocol over again with higher doses. Good thing is I can start today –I don’t need to cycle first. But now I have to start 5mg femara tonight through Friday, with 75ius Gonal-F tonight and Wednesday, and probably Friday (although I go in for monitoring that morning so I guess we will see on the third shot – although I don’t anticipate anything changing..).
It just stinks seeing those hollow cloudy ovaries on the u/s. I have been an emotional wreck from the meds and I was really hoping I’d be ready for a trigger and not have to continue to feel like a crazy person from the meds. I know I’m just venting – it’s totally not the worst thing in the world. And Dr. B said it’s nothing I should be too concerned about as far as actually getting pregnant, we just need the eggies to show up… I guess after hyperstimming so easily last cycle – I just thought it would be easy this time – just one protocol and I’d O. I guess that was naïve.
Anyway I’m done venting, I know it could be a lot worse. Thanks for listening!!

Re: Not the Best RE Appointment..
IF can be so crazy. My first inject scycle I had 5 follies c/p. My second injects cycle I had 3 follies BFN; my 3rd injects cycle 1 follie and a c/p. So each month can be so different. You know you can make follies!

Re: Not the Best RE Appointment..
sucks! ur not broken though honey! Just wounded this time. Things will work out! And ur with the right Dr to help you along the way. I can imagine it is depressing to look over and see empty folllys. Maybe next month will be better - remember it only takes 1 =)
Still Im sorry ur down and hope things are better for you soon.
We all know how you feel and understand the feelings of having the rug pulled out from under us in one way or another - what dosent kill you makes you stronger - or at least that's what they say

Re: Not the Best RE Appointment..
IT stinks when we don't respond to the meds the way we're "supposed" to, but your Dr will figure out a protocol for you and your body. Hopefully this next one will work
