NOT TRAVEL RELATED!! But a question about airlines
We all know how some people cringe when they see babies or small children on aircrafts. In the wake of the little boy being thrown off a flight in Texas, my question, why isnt there a "family friendly" airline? Even "family friendly flights"? One where people can fly with their children and not be chastied because their infant is crying or their little boy is talking loudly?
I'm surprised there isnt something like this. Family travel is a huge market. The aircraft could have tv's like jet blue, kid-friendly snacks, activities etc.
And best of all no grumpy passengers complaining about kids.
what do you think?

Re: NOT TRAVEL RELATED!! But a question about airlines
I said the same thing to DH last weekend. His firm invests in several airlines, so he's pretty well versed on their operations.
He said that the problem is for many destinations, there aren't enough kids going to dedicate one whole flight a day or week just to families. Although he agreed that for destinations like Disney it would make sense to have at least 1 or 2 flights a week that are geared to families.
But then he pointed out that it could lead to people being even more disgruntled about kids on their flight if the family friendly flights aren't good for your schedule, KWIM?

I absolutely know what you mean, but what if parents who are afraid to travel with young children because of fear they may throw tantrums etc, start using the family friendly flights/airline, wouldnt the airline be tapping a new market?
