Not TTC yet but I'm already 2nd guessing myself ***UPDATE****
DH & I decided to TTC after the New Year. Now just like everyone else, I wanna get preggo right away. I was planning on stopping BCP mid Nov to hopefully be preggo by my Jan O which will prob be mid month. So, my question is should I stop BCP right now in order to have a chance to hit that or is my original game plan ok OR does it not matter (in general, I know everyone is different) whether I stop now or Nov for Jan preggoness???
Ladies, thank you so much for your advice & opinions. I cant believe I am actually saying this but I am going to call my OBGYN talk to him and then discuss w/DH about stopping BCP right away!!! 
I am still solid on wanting to wait till after the New Year TTC but at least I know by then I will have done everything in my power to get BFP on my first cycle!!!!   & for each of you!!!!

I think you are supposed to wait a few months after stopping BC to start TTC , so I would stop now and start TTC in November ! I have 3 kids and all were concieved rather easily , now I am on my 2nd month of TTC so we will see. Like you said everyone is different ,and it might take a few months of TTC . GL

when is your prescription done? i would just stop now. It may take your body a while to stabilize. and if you are conscious of your cycle and track it on a site like My Monthly Cycles or FF, you can time it so you don't BD around your fertile time until the month you are ready to officially start.

I would stop now. Just be careful and use "back up" when you may be O'ing. All doctors have a different opinion, but mine told me that because I was on bcp for so many years (11yrs) that it may take me up to 6 months to get pg... I was like "Whaaaat? how come you didnt share this with me LAST time".... on the contrary I have friends whose drs told them they can get pg right away...but, just something to think about!

like you said everyone is different... with my first dc.. i went off bcp in middle of sept and was preggo that first cycle by the end of oct!
This time.. i stopped bcp int he middle of aug and im trying now and hoping to be as successful as last for some reason i just dont have that warm fuzzy feeling this time

I waited 3 full cycles after going of BCP before TTC. I got pregnant on my 3rd month of trying.
That was with my first DC. This time around I wasn't on BCP but got pregnant on the first month of trying.
