Note to self keep quick stop on hand at all times* UPDATE in the post*
i have never had a problem with cutting mystics nails ... well today i did and it was a bad one... i flew to the shirley feed in my pj's and slippers and ran back home... she was in so much pain thankfully the stuff worked very quick and it stoped  i felt so bad

Ugh 
I've done it too. The vet told me that a bar of soap works as well.

You can also use flour or cornstarch if you need it immediately. It might not work as fast but it is a nice second choice.

thanks guys good info for the future. and sorry it took me so long to update. she is doing good. she is still tender and will not really let me get a good look at it. but it is not bleeding and that is all that matters.
