November/December 2008 Mommies: Can you believe our babies are about to turn 1?

The time has FLOWN!

Anyone have a walker yet? Chloe cruises and walks with her shopping cart, but nothing solo yet. She says dada, mama, hi, bye and apple. She also babbles like crazy.

I can't believe last year at this time we were all going crazy playing the waiting game!

I just can't believe it--I always look at her newborn portrait and think, "Where did my newborn baby go?"

I can't believe it either...I cried today talking about it! My baby is walking and starting to really say words! It all went too quick!

Oh I just have more and more fun the older she gets. This is my favorite age shes a little parrot and says everything I do. I love it. I said tonight...your such a parrot. She says "parrot" right back. She makes all the farm animal noises. We do it all day. She even does a rooster

I really can't believe it. Where did this year go??? I'm so excited to be planning his first birthday party but I started to cry the other day thinking about my baby boy turning one. Every day gets better and better. He is not walking just cruising. He is trying so hard to speak. He says "mama, dada, baby, bo (for book) and bye-bye." I grow more in love with him every single day. Hope everyone enjoys their cutie pie's Birthday celebrations!!!

I have been so nostalgic lately- looking at pics from when they were first born. I keep telling DH they are not my little tiny babies anymore - they are almost toddlers.
Although I love watching them discover how to do all these new things, I do miss when they were so so small the fit into the crook of my arm and their heads fit inside my hand. When I used to be able to hold them both at one time and cuddle them both close to me.
Sigh... Is it time for another?

I still am in amazement that one whole year has gone by. It is scary how times has flown.

No...it went way too fast. DS will be 1 on Friday and his party is Saturday. I love this age but I miss that tiny little baby I had just a year ago. It seems like yesterday.
It's even more bittersweet b/c we're 99.9% sure we're done.

I can't deal, I'm sooo excited but at the same time soooo sad that she's not a little baby anymore!! DD is cruising and won't sit still for a second, and honestly if this is a sign of how she is when shes' going to be walking I'm not joining a gym, bc I'll be getting a good workout chasing her, I already am!!! She says mama dada, nay (no) hedo (hello) and the occasional do (dog)

DS is a January baby but it's less than 2 months away and yes I can not believe how time has passed. Birthday party is planned and I am very excited!!!!

I can't believe how quickly the past 11 months have gone by. DS is finally crawling on all fours. He had been army crawling for a few months. I don't think he's close to walking yet. He loves to pull himself up, but doesn't really get how to take steps.

OMG I am in shock! My boys are saying Dada, mama, night night, baba and other stuff I can't decipher! They are not walking yet but cruising really well and I think Declan is pretty close. Their party is next Saturday.
