In the grand scheme of things, threads being moved doesnt' really register.. but at this point it's comical. What is the point of having a "NFR" board if you are going to create a board for everything under the sun? What goes under NFR at this point?
27 boards, I'm curious to see the traffick numbers on each board...
LIF should consider consolidating boards, not adding new ones..

While most of us agree this makes sense... LIF makes money from the sponsors for each board, so it doesn't necessarily make sense for them.
ETA - Plus, I find the fallout from the moved threads utterly hilarious - especially now that THOSE are being moved to a new board.

I work in online advertising, so I TOTALLY understand the sponsorship thing... but they can look into selling other online units, like the LIF banner on the top of the page can be sold to various "clients" as a sponsorship. When you refresh the page to see new replies the banner can rotate and change advertisers. They can bookend their pages.. there are a TON of other ways advertisers can promote their brand on LIF without adding a bunch of unnecessary boards.
I'd be more than happy to brainstorm new ideas
