Now that I'm watching the lamaze video
I am getting really nervous about labor and delivery.
I have to be honest and say that I had no clue that it was so much work!
I was following along with the breathing and pushing and I got light headed and couldn't do anymore. And that was only after about 5 minutes

Try not too worry too much about it. Everyone has different experiences so don't rely on what anyone else has told you. Bottom line is; regardless, you get through it and it's all worth it because you get to hold your little baby.

It's called Laugh and Learn and I would reccomend it. It's kind of cheesy, but you will definitely learn stuff.

well, since I was diagnosed with GD I probably will have a C-section so Im not sure if I will take or buy a lamaze class/dvd.

that isn't necessarily true.
my doc said as long as I kept my sugars #'s level and the baby was measuring OK i could have a fair shot..
how have you been doing by the way?

I feel the same way ... as much as the lamaze video is soo helpful & informative, I find that I am stressing the entire labor/delivery experience even MORE now 
And I STINK at the breathing exercises too (well it doesnt help that DH makes me laugh everytime I'm doing them  )

I am terrified of the whole experience. But if I don't get over it, it will make the process so much worse. At least it has to end at some point You can;t be in labor forever!.

She is very nice and she does make it enjoyable. Except for that woman with her feet always on her husband's lap...she infuriates me!

I opted to go into without any videos, classes or books. I know they will totally freak me out and I have confidence my doctor and body will tell me what to do!!
