I find that my 1 thing changes all the time. Right now it's definitely my breast pump since DD cut me off.

ETA but if want a "thing" its changed with every stage.
Newborn: bouncy & video monitor
5 - 8 months: jumperoo & FP building blocks
Now: lots of energy!!!
ETA: how can I have forgot the MIRACLE BLANKET. From 5 weeks until 6 months that blanket was my best friend

The Bjorn has definitely gotten the most use. When DS was a baby he cried all the time and it was the only thing that calmed him down. Now he's 10 months and I still use it daily when I have to walk my dog. It's also perfect for the beach because it leaves my hands free to carry all of stuff.
