NPR - Please hope DHs appt goes well today..Updated at bottom
Last Saturday evening DH was finishing up cutting up some sheetrock for the basement, which will soon be his room so we can start working on the nursery. It's almost done, but he acidentally cut part of his thumb pretty bad on the table saw. We went right to the hospital of corse, and he got 10 stitches. Today he is meeting with the hand specialist / plastic surgen to see what they can do. Please hope that he won't be in much more pain, and that his thumb will be back to normal...at least mostly by Feb. He's been a good sport about it so far, but I know he's hurting.
PS - he's already been banned from all sharp tools... he's getting Bob the Builder tools for Christmas. LOL.

Well, it all went so good...I guess.. LOL. He got the stitches out, but he's still in alot of pain. Guess he will have to be for some time now. He has another appt. on Tues, so I was trying to cheer him up saying that 3 weeks before MY weekly exams come, he needs to have weekly exams too LOL. He's doing OK though... thanks ladies.

O!M!G! DH cut off the tip off his thumb when I was pregnant on a table saw too!!!!!!!! He was literally making the last cut on the last piece of toekick in the new kitchen! He had a million stitches, went to a hand specialist and luckily it was fine. The top of his thumb is slanted now but hes OK! Im sure itll be the same for your DH.
Then bc I thought I was funny, I got him this......the one on the right
