NPR: All you fabulous photographers out there...
how do I take pictures without red eye. If you notice in the 2 month pictures I took she always gets red eye. I have a canon powershot and even if I select the red eye feature - I still get red eye. I have so many cute pics of her, but she always looks like she's possessed!

for me it has to do w/ the time of day if I take them during the day w/ natural light, she doesn't get red eye b/c the flash doesn't really go off.

I usually don't worry about it too much, and just correct the red-eye after the fact on the computer.

Turn on as many lights in the house to make her pupil contract. That will eliminate the light reflecting from her retina.

Thanks for the advice!! Every pic I take of Steven he gets red eye. Even with the red eye reducer off
