NPR: Camera's
So I figured all our to be moms are getting their camera's ready. Well ours broke yesterday  and we have our c-section on Wednesday. I want to run out later today and buy a new one. Any recommendations? I am looking for something that will take good quality pictures - maybe around the $200-340 range. Not really sure. Please help!

Go for it and get a Nikon d40. It will be the last camera you ever buy and it takes amazing pics.
With all the digital cameras that we've bought in the past, we could have had the most expensive SLR by now.

I have a Cannon Powershot S3. I love it!!! It has a fast shutter (not as fast as a SLR) and takes beautiful pictures!!!

we are in the same boat. my camera is sooooooo old and slow!
I need a new one ASAP, don't want to break the bank, but don't want to get one I will hate in no time either.

I have the Canon Rebel XTI its an excellent camera great quality pics and very easy to use

I have a Canon DSLR that I love, but it's pricey. My DH just bought me a new point and shoot. I got the Canon PowerShot SD 870IS. link
I've been really happy with it so far, especially for taking pictures of a toddler who never stays still! The image stabilization really is great! It's so much better than my old PowerShot!

I have a Canon Powershot SD 1000 and it takes amazing pictures. It was very reasonable - we got it on amazon for around $150!
I can't justify spending a ton of money on a digital camera that will just be outdated in 3 years anyway!

We got the Canon Rebel SLR camera in anticipation of the baby. Now I just need DH to make his final selection on the camcorder  (he usually researches so long that the product is outdated by the time we get it!)

I've been through like 4 cameras already and I am in love with my Canon. I think its a PowerShot. Very easy to use, takes great pictures!
