NPR--cleaning lady

So our new (and first time) cleaning lady is supposed to come this morning. I'm just hoping she shows up on time and does a good job, otherwise I'll have to keep looking (and we don't have a lot of time left before baby!).

Before this, we had a cleaning service cancel twice to meet for the first time, so I said forget it with them....

This person is from craigslist, she came over and gave us a quote before....


Sorry for ranting, I'm just a little nervous and anxious! I'm hoping she works out so when baby is here and our schedule gets busy again, we'll be comfortable & happy with her!

I hear ya... I keep telling DH I want a cleaning lady, but with the construction on the baby's room there's no point. We're having the carpet delivered tomorrow so the big construction part is over and hopefully we'll hire someone next week. Let me know if this one works out!

We just started with our cleaning people, like a month ago... we LOVE THEM... they were recommended from another mommy on LIF!!!

IF it doesn't work out, let me know and I can give you the contact info... we are central nassau though.... don't know where you are.

Argh!

She finished upstairs and now is downstairs, so I am upstairs doing work....

and honestly, it looks like she just vacuumed and wiped mirrors, but not even a great job at that.


Like I still see a paperclip on the floor in the office, and she didn't move the dogs' crate upstairs so there is still dog hair around it, she forgot to change the bed sheets like I asked

ARGH

I'd rather pay someone else MORE and get a more thorough job

and I live upstate, so unfortunately I can't use your recommendations...

if your cleaning lady doesnt work out i can recommend one for you its a cleaning service they are amazing, very reasonable. Always reliable, and they do a fantastic job. She is here right now. it smells great!

I guess we'll try someone else. I'd rather do some trial and error now before baby is here
