I guess I need to lay off DH for planning to owe this year so that we had the money throughout...now I wonder if NYS would accept my delay to pay for a budgetary shortfall.

hmmm....wouldnt it be nice if a penalty or accrued interest would be tacked on, like they do to any tax payer who was even a day late with their payments.

My friend just told me about this the other day! Crazy! DH and I don't get refunds, we always pay because of his practice, but that really sucks for those who were counting on the cash!
