NSLIJ pricing?
Hey does anyone have a recent OOP quote for IVF there? I am considering a clinic switch and this info would be VERY helpful!! Forum mail is fine if that is preferred. Thank you!

Re: NSLIJ pricing?
With insurance covering 75%, I was quoted $7,000 incl icsi at nslij.
Same insurance at Li Ivf, i was quoted $1,500 not incl. icsi which I think was an extra 1,000 or so.
My friend paid 14,000 oop at nslij.

Re: NSLIJ pricing?
Thank you Michelle! Your responses have been very helpful! Wow that's a big difference! I know NsUH has a facility fee or something because it's a hospital but that still is way more. Ugh. I keep coming to the same conclusion - that nsuh is just way more convenient for month after month iui (which is covered) but Li vid is better for ivf should it come to that. I am just afraid of incurring the odd long wait time out in Melville and being at the mercy of the LIE if I need to rush home to pick up my kids or something. At nsuh I can take a variety of routes in be home in 10-15.
I asked this in a previous post but does anyone know if a clinic will "take you back" so to speak if you leave to go elsewhere ?
Oh and Do people still get pregnant just by having sex any more? Without having to consider all these logistics lol. I am not complaining. I had luck with treatments last time and have beautiful kids but sometimes I forget people get to complete their families just by having sex!

I think any clinic would be willing to take you back.

Re: NSLIJ pricing?
NSUH has a shared risk program for ivf which was very helpful for us. We have always been oop and found NS center for human reproduction's prices to be comparable to another REs office I was with before. As someone oop, i can understand shoppng around but I would def research labs and their success rate as well. Good luck!!
1st ivf i paid 19,000 for the shared risk program(3ivfs and 3fets). About 2years later after having DD we went back for another ivf and oop including meds paid less than 12,000.

Re: NSLIJ pricing?
Thank you! I am torn about the shared risk, I got a couple of kids from my first ivf only two years ago on the first shot and this will def be my last child and I think I would just walk away if I didn't have success the first time or with a subsequent fet. But $12 k oop incl meds does not sound bad at all. That's what I paid last time. This time around at least meds are covered! I wonder why such a discrepancy though?!
Anyway ladies thank you for the feedback :)

NSLIJ pricing?
two years ago I was quoted over $25,000.00 and with the out of pocket discount it was over $16,000.00 so $14,000.00 is better
I would say a clinic would take you back unless something crazy happened.

Re: NSLIJ pricing?
Wow another big discrepancy. Ugh when I went for my conyslt I was just talking about IUI. I didn't think to ask about ivf pricing. Maybe I should call and get a quote :/ I didn't expect such variance!

NSLIJ pricing?
I was quoted $7k with icsi at NSUH with my 75% IVF coverage...they have a $1,200 facility fee because of the association with the hospital...with RSNY it was $4k which is one of the reasons why I decided to leave NSUH...I started out with RSNY with 2 IUI's left to go to NSUH for 4 IUI's then went back to RSNY for my IVF/FET cycles

They did away with the $1,200 facility fee. I think I paid around 5k with icsi, assisted hatching and freezing embryos. That's with 75% coverage.
