NT scan bloodwork appt tomorrow
We are discussing the results of the bloodwork tomorrow while my actual scan will be next week (13 weeks) due to me being away. I can't fight these nerves!! Please send me good vibes!!
Will they give a percentage or number ratio with the results or just tell me everything is good or bad?
I see Dr. Cohen if that matters.

NT scan bloodwork appt tomorrow
My doc gave me the ratio (1:10,000 or something lik that, she said it was the lowest ratio they give). I know everything is going to be great!

When I went for my regular appt, my sono results were in, but my bloodwork wasn't back yet, so I was just told everything looked good so far. I got the ratio a week later when I met with a genetic counselor (bc of my age). Once your dr reviews the ultrasound, s/he should be able to tell you your odds based on the combined results. Good luck, I'm sure everything is great!

I hope you get great news today!
My OB took BW before the NT scan. Right after the NT scan the OB came in and explained the odds (mine were 1 in 8000+ for Downs) based on the scan and BW.

Yes they took the blood work 2 weeks ago and the goal was to do the scan this week but I was away when the perinatologists were in. So he wants to meet with me tonight and I might get another sono to see the baby (I hope!) it will be my first abdominal ultrasound.

Dr Cohen is super easygoing, if you ask for a scan he'll usually let you have one unless he's super backed up.
He gave us all the odds...we were real low for everything so we opted out of additional testing.

Nice. I hope everything goes well. At my 10 week appointment they did the vaginal US and the abdominal. I couldn't believe we could actually see the baby on the abdominal US....it was so cool. I hope you get to see your LO.

Yes I keep getting the same angle with the transvaginal so it will be nice to see it look like a real baby finally!
