NTTC related.. MY JOB
My boss just informed us b/c of the economy we aren't getting any raises this year!!!  Ugggggg we got a raise last year. .. but hadn't for three years before that!!!! Now this.....especially when I was due for a big one.. I took on LOTS more responsibility and employees!!!!
ok vent over!!!

If it makes you feel any better....we are at a salary freeze increase until June as well.
I'd prefer that over getting laid off.
i think it's smart of companies to do this b/c you just don't know how things are going to pan out within the coming months.
I'm thankful for this. (not that you aren't, I understand how disappointing it is)

NO you're right. i shouldn't be upset about not getting a raise when so many people have lost their jobs!!

Aw I am sorry, the same thing happened to me...we didn't get bonuses or raises and i've been here for 10 years, it's a first...also DH was laid off today  he is in the union Local 7 so this is part of the job, but with the economy and the holidays around the corner i don't know when he will get picked up again....ok sorry I rambled on! Just wanted to say I know how you are feeling...

Aww man that stinks, but like the other girls said, it's got to be a good thing to still have a job in this economy.
I am sure your bosses will remember all of the resposibility you took on when the raises come around again!
