Numbness in foot while running
After I reach the 3 mile mark my right foot tends to go numb, as if it's falling asleep. I don't get the tingles and stops once I start my cool down. I switched to thinner socks. I tend to tighten the laces too much sometimes. But when I loosen them, I feel like my foot is swimming in my sneaker. I’ve been using the same sneakers for over a year now. Is it time to get new shoes? I have noticed that after the run, my foot is tight when I am unlacing the sneaker specifically at the top by the ankle. I’m hoping fixing one of these two issues the numbness will go away.

Re: Numbness in foot while running
Not sure if its the age of your sneakers but something isn't right with them--they may be crowding your toes whether you know it or not--I would go into a running store and tell them the issue.
I was just reading this--sounds like maybe they are getting compressed?
