Yes, it took some time and patience, but it's not hard to do -
how did you do it? tape it out and measure out?? i want to do stripes but i am terrfied to start that project so its on hold lol

We painted the 2 walls crean.
Then we measured and found the exact middle point of the wall and measured 6 inches up, and 6 inches down - Youi give yourself a few points on the wall and then tape out the verticle line .........We did 12 inch stripes. 12 inches of blue, 12 of cream -
Once it's all taped, you mix the blue with a glaze, roll into the taped 'stripes' and then w/ a hard wire brush, brush it through to get that linen look -
Let dry. and peel off the tape.
Start at one far end of the wall and tape out your 1st 12 inch verticle stripe, and continue throughout the entire wall(s) and then once all the tape is up repeat the blue glaze/brushing -
Wait to dry and peel back the tape - and you have Gingham -
We used a tape measure and level to get the lines straight - that part was the b*tch -

I have 2 sets from Behr's. One is my DD's and I have pictures in my album. The other isn't delivered yet - so no pictures of the nursery.
One set is a Pali set and the other is a Munire set. Both get high ratings from baby bargains (A- and A I believe).

I have to say we just had our Pali set delivered and I am NOT happy with the quality at all considering what we paid. I thought it was a safe bet since it got such high ratings, but my husband and I are very disappointed.

We got a Ragazzi set and we were not happy with quality at all. The store we got it from is letting us switch it and keep the old set until the new one comes in. I am now debating between the Natart Penelope and Madison set.

That is horrible. Their stuff is usually good quality - but I do understand that they make a lower quality line. What do you not like about it?

Regarding the Pali set, the crib had dents and markings in a few places, the stain wasn't even throughout, the drawers in the dressers wobble, and overall I just wasn't impressed. Our bedroom set is from Thomasville and there is such a tremendous difference. We ordered the Pali set from Sukon's and they have been great. They are replacing the damaged pieces on the crib.

We are lucky enough to receive a crib from a family member, but we purchased an armoire and a changing table/dresser by Young America at Behr's. It's the Isabella collection. I'm debating on getting a night table too though.
